    It's pretty and so cute! Your Addy is adorable. I wish I could sew that well and easy. Especially sleeves.

    </font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">What I did was took a pattern I have for a doll dress bodice that I drafted months ago (i keep all my pieces together), made a copy, cut it in half where I wanted to put it back together, and then added the seam allowance to put them back together. Then I added an inch or so to the width across the bottom half of the bodice, and so when I gathered it, it looked poofy. The front bodice, or top, is done in two pieces.

    And no problem. IIRC it's Buttericks and McCalls that are on sale.

    Just darling...I need to get sewing for my girls.
    Have been making dresses for my grand daughter's Molly that came from the thrift store.
    Found fabric that looks like Molly's victory Garden dress and I was going to take a picture of it,but she wanted to take it home tonight for Molly..
    So ..well..you know how gramas are...
